Why is my account number different in my Ferry app vs my employer's payroll software?

If you notice that the account number in your Ferry app differs from the one listed in your employer’s payroll software, this is expected due to the way payroll deposits are processed.

For payroll processing, all direct deposits for Ferry cardholders are first routed through an Employer-Facilitated Account (EFA) before being transferred to their designated Ferry payroll account.

As a result:

  • Your pay stubs will show deposits directed to a different account number (your EFA) with Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB).
  • The actual funds are then securely deposited into your Ferry payroll account.

This process ensures the secure and efficient transfer of funds and is designed to streamline payroll distribution.
