Why did my Remainder Pay transfer fail?

Transfers can fail for a variety of reasons, including:

  • The transfer was declined by your bank
  • The destination account details were entered incorrectly
  • You are trying to make a transfer to a credit card or another prohibited account type
  • The destination account is closed

We recommend double-checking that your account information is correct, your account is open, and that your bank has not restricted transfers into your account.
