Why is my shift ineligible for Express Pay?

Shift Eligibility is based on guidelines provided by your employer. In some cases, if a shift does not meet certain criteria, it may not qualify.

For example, your shift might not be eligible if: 

  • You or your account are not eligible for Express Pay
  • The shift was under a job code that is paid primarily in tips (for example, a server or bartender)
  • The shift was unusually long
  • Your employer marked the shift as ineligible

In some cases, your employer may update your shift eligibility. Once Ferry receives the updated shift information, it will be reflected in your Ferry account.

Unfortunately, Ferry is not able to override shift eligibility on our end. If you believe a shift should be eligible, please contact your employer.
