You can dispute a transaction for any of the following reasons:
- You do not recognize a transaction on your account and you believe your card was lost or stolen.
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
- You were charged a higher amount than expected
- You were charged even after you canceled or returned a purchase
- You were charged when you used a different payment method for the transaction
- The purchase you made was unsatisfactory (the item was damaged or never arrived, or any other dissatisfaction with the product or services).
If you were dissatisfied with your purchase, we recommend reaching out to the merchant directly as this will be the quickest and easiest way to resolve the issue.
If you were unable to resolve the issue with the merchant or if you believe your card has been compromised and wish to dispute a charge, you must do so within 120 days from the date the transaction first appeared on your account. Please see "Why can't I dispute my transaction?" for a list of all ineligible transaction types.
